Praised as one of the most promising young cellists of his generation, Santiago Cañón-Valencia is a 2022 BBC Next Generation Artist, and winner of the Silver Medal and the Audience Favorite Award at the 2019 International Tchaikovsky Competition. His concert will include pieces by Hispanic/Latino composers (Ponce de Leon, Albeniz, Hoyos, and Pinzon) as well as Cañón-Valencia’s own composition. Come witness this extraordinary cellist in his Cleveland debut!
The LatinUS Theater is located in the Pivot Center, a stunning conversion of a former warehouse to a home for a consortium of artistic and social services nonprofits. There is abundant free parking in the Center’s parking lot.
Tickets: $35 for general admission, $100 for patrons ($65 of which is a tax-deductible donation), and $10 for student rush tickets (with ID).
